Stockholm, February 03, 2026.
Maria Bauer, a behavioural scientist and expert in conflict, violence and threat management, together with the technology company Hypr10, today announce a new strategic collaboration. By using AI-driven avatars in XR (virtual and mixed reality), the initiative aims to make advanced, evidence-based training more accessible and cost-effective, particularly for public sector and other societal-critical organisations operating in complex and high-risk environments.
The partnership responds to an increasing demand for scalable training that prepares individuals to act, communicate and make decisions under pressure in dangerous and stressful situations. Through the integration of evidence-based behavioural expertise and state-of-the-art XR technology, new opportunities are created for safe, measurable and repeatable learning within realistic scenarios.

Hypr10 brings extensive experience and technical expertise in delivering scalable XR solutions for organisations where realism, safety and operational relevance are essential to training and education. This complements Maria Bauer’s long-standing background in education and supervision within violence prevention, mental health and professional conduct in challenging situations.
“Together with Maria Bauer, we are taking an important step towards the next generation of behavioural training. This is not about technology for its own sake, but about making critical knowledge accessible, trainable and grounded in real-world conditions,” says Kenneth Häggmark, CEO of Hypr10.
A core focus of the collaboration will be Maria Bauer’s expert domain: managing conflict, threats and violence. Together, the partners will develop realistic, ethically grounded and safe virtual training scenarios for personnel working in public and semi-public environments. The scenarios will target healthcare, social services, the justice system, schools and other professions where employees regularly face threats, crisis situations and high psychological strain. The ambition is to expand access to training while improving quality and long-term learning outcomes.
“XR offers a unique opportunity to train for difficult situations in ways that were previously impossible. When technology is combined with deep behavioural expertise and ethical awareness, we can create training that truly makes a difference – for individuals and society,” says Maria Bauer.
The initiative addresses a growing need within the public sector and other societal critical organisations operating in environments exposed to risk. The new business area will be launched during 2026 and gradually introduced to public sector organisations, educational institutions and selected private sector actors.

About Hypr10
Hypr10 is a Swedish XR company, headquartered in Stockholm. We are specialising in immersive training and simulation for complex and high-risk environments. Hypr10 designs and develops XR* solutions that support realistic, scenario-based learning where safety, accuracy and realism are critical. Through EdTech and scenario-based environments, XR enables learning by doing in a safe, repeatable and measurable way. This allows individuals to train behaviour, decision-making and communication under pressure. Our solutions optimise soft-skill training, where context, stress and human interaction are critical and traditional classroom methods fall short. We work with organisations across industry, transportation, defense, health care, safety and the public sector to increase preparedness, improve learning outcomes and reduce risk and cost through immersive training.
